The Problem
“We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of heaven…But we have forgotten God.”
Abraham Lincoln defined the problem in 1863. We are plagued by it still today.
The Solution
Joshua’s Hands desires to glorify God through the American Heritage Project in order to preserve one of America’s choicest bounties – her foundation of faith. It is our belief that familiarity with our American heritage will instill a respect for America and her history, renew interest in her arts and culture, rekindle a connection to the faith of our fathers, and challenge Americans to serve.
While cherishing the foundation that has been laid, we also want to encourage involvement in the present and future of America.
The American Heritage Project will revive a foundation of truth, restore a faith in God, and renew a future of hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)
“…but the people who know their God will display strength and take action.”―Daniel 11:32(b)
UPDATE
We’re also actively working on the history component of our heritage education program and will have more information on that in the near future. Please pray for us as we continue to look at facility options. Our hearts were tethered to a piece of history that is no longer a possibility. Pray that God will provide the right location for the ongoing work of Joshua’s Hands...We have a BARN that could be renovated and would offer a terrific space. The cost is estimated to be $100,000 for the necessary work. Pray for direction and provision!
